2.11 Title of Emeritus or Emerita

The title of President Emeritus or President Emerita may be conferred only by the Board of Regents on the recommendation of the Chancellor. A President of a àËÅöÊÓƵ (àËÅöÊÓƵ) institution may, at his or her discretion, confer the title of emeritus or emerita on any retired faculty member or administrative officer who, at the time of retirement, had ten or more years of honorable and distinguished àËÅöÊÓƵ service.
